Technogym presents UNICA MENTE: the exhibition celebrating 40 years of Unica
On the occasion of Milan Design Week, the UNICA MENTE exhibition celebrates the 40th anniversary of Unica, the Home Wellness icon, through the images of 40 personalities who have shared its journey.
MILAN, April 20, 2026 – Technogym presents UNICA MENTE, an installation celebrating the 40th anniversary of Unica, the complete home gym in just one and a half square meters that has become a true design icon, defining an entirely new category of home fitness products.
Designed in 1986 in a garage by Nerio Alessandri, Founder of Technogym, Unica revolutionized the world of exercise, establishing itself as the first luxury product to define Home Wellness. Over the years, Unica has found its place in some of the most beautiful homes and yachts in the world, becoming the personal training solution of celebrities and top athletes — from Sylvester Stallone and Michael Schumacher in the past, to Carlos Alcaraz and Kim Kardashian today.

The installation and the social project: creating a lasting legacy
Curated by Felice Limosani, the UNICA MENTE installation takes place at the Technogym Milano space on Via Durini 1 during Salone del Mobile week. It transforms the anniversary celebration into a reflection on the connection between body and mind — “mens sana in corpore sano” — the two key pillars of wellness.
The exhibition celebrates 40 years of Unica through photographs and video content featuring 40 prominent personalities who have experienced and shared Unica’s values and history. What begins as a journey of personal wellness expands into a broader social message, designed to inspire more people to embrace regular physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. Each of the 40 participants has selected a school or charitable organization to which Technogym will donate a Unica, as a symbolic legacy promoting healthy lifestyles for young people.
The group represents a diverse range of 40 personal stories and experiences, united by shared values of health and prevention. It includes sports champions such as Rafael Nadal, Charles Leclerc, Fernando Alonso, Marc Márquez and Federica Brignone, alongside artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini, Jovanotti, Fiorello, Michelle Hunziker and Biagio Antonacci; architectural master Antonio Citterio; film director Gabriele Muccino; sports managers such as Giovanni Malagò; and visionary entrepreneurs including Remo Ruffini and Luca di Montezemolo.

Unica: a complete home gym in just one and a half square meters
