Following a long-standing relationship with Technogym, including acting as a Technogym Ambassador during the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Nadal has once again selected Technogym to provide a selection of its best and most innovative cardio, strength and functional products to his Academy’s dedicated Fitness Centre. All Technogym equipment is fully integrated with Mywellness cloud, the Technogym digital platform enabling them to stay connected to their own personal training programme directly on the equipment itself and via their mobile devices.
The state-of-the-art solution that Technogym has installed in the Academy includes the ARTIS line, the first collection to offer a complete range of cardio, strength and functional training equipment at launch, and that includes products that bring together the very best in design, biomechanical engineering, interactive technology. The equipment features UNITY, the latest generation “internet of things” based interface, designed to ensure a fully personalized training experience.
At the Academy, athletes also have access to Technogym’s newly released SKILLMILL, the only non-motorised functional training product - specifically designed for Athletic Performance Training launched during the Olympic Games in Rio – which allows athletes to train power, speed, stamina and agility exercises with the same product. Among the other products, the students will be able to train on Kinesis, the Technogym patented technology, which will allow them to explore the freedom of 360° movements to perform exercises aimed at improving balance, flexibility and posture and simulating tennis-specific movements.
